  • Provided additional funding to Maanu Mbwami Community School and Kanyama West Community School for cholera prevention supplies.
  • Provided additional dedicated funding for the nutrition program at Kanyama Community School.
  • Provided quarterly disbursement of donations to Maanu Mbwami Community School and Kanyama West Community School to pay teachers, provide meals, uniforms and supplies.
  • Our first midwifery student is thriving in her studies in Lusaka.

2023

  • Replaced the collapsed septic system at Kanyama West Community school.
  • Completed work on the kitchen at Maanu Mbwmai Community School.

2020

  • Provided 1000 masks for Maanu Mbwami Community School and Kanyama West Community School in response to COVID-19.
  • Provided 16 handwashing stations, hand soap, hand sanitizer and protective clothing for teachers as required for Maanu Mbwami Community School and Kanyama West Community School in response to COVID-19.
  • Provided quarterly disbursement of donations to Maanu Mbwami Community School and Kanyama West Community School to pay teachers, provide meals, uniforms and supplies.
  • Completed sanitation repairs and upgrades to Kanyama West Community School.
  • Completed improvements to a wall-fence we built at Kanyama West Community School to mitigate flooding in the school courtyard, toilets and classrooms during the rainy season
  • Our first pre-med scholar began classes in January 2020 and she is thriving as a student
  • Our second education scholar is hard at work and thriving in her second year of studies in Lusaka
  • Our first education scholar graduated in November 2020 and is awaiting her work assignment
  • Our first nursing scholar graduated in 2019, and continues working in hospital in a remote area of Zambia

2019

  • Began regular allocations to Maanu Mbwami Community School and Kanyama West Community School to pay teachers, provide meals, uniforms and supplies.
  • Built a wall-fence at Kanyama West Community School to mitigate flooding in the school courtyard , toilets and classrooms during the rainy season.
  • Our first nursing scholar graduated in early 2019, and is working in a remote area of Zambia.
  • Our first education scholar is set to graduate in early 2020.
  • Our second education scholar is hard at work and thriving in her second year of studies in Lusaka.
  • Our first pre-med scholar will begin classes in early 2020.
  • Completed a Community Needs Assessment for the Chipongwe Catchment Area.

2018

  • Sanitation - WASH, improved walls and floors in classrooms at Kanyama West Community School to bring up to Ministry of Education standards.
  • Our first nursing University Scholar graduated.

2017

  • Our first education University Scholar began her studies in Kafue, Zambia.
  • Safe Water WASH project at Maanu Mbwami Community School – Livingstone, Zambia.
  • Safe Water WASH project at Livingstone First Community Preschool – Livingstone, Zambia.

2016

  • The Grantsmanship Center Community Grant-writing Workshop - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
  • Training and equipment for a well-drilling enterprise in northern Zambia.
  • Update 2017 – The project was discontinued when geological conditions were found unsatisfactory for the drilling technique.

2015

  • Nutritional training seminar for 15 mothers and grandmothers – Chipongwe village, Zambia.
  • Repairs on a sustainability enterprise for Maanu Mbwami Community School –Livingstone, Zambia.
  • Update 2018 – The mill remains 100 percent functional.
  • Our first nursing University Scholar began her studies in Lusaka, Zambia.
